ANCHOR NUT TEMPLATES
Problem / Current Method
Angle information from the existing anchor templates was translated from 2D drawing data to the trailing edge ribs via a protractor. Process is time consuming and open to operator error.
Solution / New Method
Angle information taken from vectors on the trailing edge ribs and parts designed to enable operators to quickly locate template to the relevant rib via existing holes and transfer angle lines to the rib surface. Also bespoke kit boxes created so that templates can be quickly located and installed.
